Photographer

In the mid 2010’s, Alex was an editor and contributor to UNBUILT, a biannual lifestyle and cultural magazine that included his friend and fellow “metal intellectual,” D Randall Blythe (vocalist of Lamb of God) For one article, he, founder and music industry design vet Tom Bejgrowicz and Randy took pictures on a shared instant camera capturing their then current surroundings. Randy – himself a professional and widely respected photographer – noticed Alex’s pictures and suggested he try shooting on a “real camera.” When the two found themselves supporting Slayer’s farewell tour with their mutual bands, Randy loaned Alex one of his prized Leica’s, which Alex didn’t want to return. His since gotten two of his own, and shares pictures documenting his travels around the world, some of which have been shared by street photography accounts and Leica Camera itself. He looks forward to continuing his photography adventures.
