Well, as most of you know, Geek to Guitar Hero, came out earlier this year. And in case this the first you’ve heard about it: my book is an autobiographical memoir that took several years to write; I’m the sole author. FAQ: Yes, I’m planning to write more books in the future. I consider the written word to be an essential side of my creativity – no less than music itself – and feel more like a writer who plays music than a musician who writes. Response has been amazing. Purchase G2GH on the Amazon page and check the wonderful reviews, such as this one:
“Alex’s story is much bigger than the music story…it is about someone who never quit, never settled for average, defied expectations, struggled, chose the higher path in pursuit of his own happiness. There is a lot to be inspired about in this book…much more than the musical journey and story. This book is not about what most books typically are…grew-up, partied, had drug problems, partied some more etc…the journey that this book takes the reader on is very deep and it is about a journey thru his life, struggles, experiences , choices etc…it is deep.”
